Our new educational podcast called ThoughtMaps LIVE is now in development!

How do we hope our podcast will impact our listeners?

• People are more hopeful.
• People are more nuanced in the way they think about political issues.
• People are open-minded and willing to learn things that contradict their current beliefs.
• People are eager to bridge political divides and build relationships with people from other tribes.
• People are confident in their ability to study original sources and develop their own opinions about current events.
• People appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of both liberalism and conservatism and acknowledge the important role that all personalities and priorities play in our political process.
• We have gathered an engaged Healing of America community.
• People are educated on the message of restoring the constitutional checks and balances, and addressing the root causes of our political problems.

Our primary purpose is to forge a new hopeful faith-based civic culture rooted in unifying solutions, critical thought, and absolute truth.

Critical thought is the tool we use to clear the pathway in our exploration of ideas, but skepticism is not our destination. Discovering absolute truth is our destination.

Our intention is to inspire “rare faith” as we create a place for us to talk about what the want in the unique ways we want. Our approach to conducting political discourse is dramatically different from standard political dialogue and requires a locally controlled format for these discussions to thrive.

Secondary motivations and purposes include:

• Gathering a community of like-minded citizens
• Identifying the root causes of our greatest civic problems
• Popularizing hopeful solutions across the world
• Building bridges across political and cultural divides
• Branding “civics”

We are building a community of regular guests who will be invited to participate in podcast episodes on a show by show basis, depending on interests and show topics. Contact us to get involved!

We intend to use at least two formats for our podcast discussions.

Most episodes will be forums where 2-6 members of our Podcasting Community gather to discuss a topic in depth. The objective will be to identify the right questions to be asking about a topic, and then striving to answer these refined questions in a way that virtually all  objectively sane and informed people would agree.

Formal interviews will also be conducted by the hosts with subject matter experts, political figures, and other thought leaders.

ThoughtMaps is the name of a mind-mapping software we are developing to help us take notes during the show and to help us conduct research for curriculum development, community education, and advocacy. The software will prioritize comprehensive understanding of subjects over narrow-minded narrative development motivated by tribalistic debate.
